L.A. rapper Amir showed up to shoot the biggest video of his career to date in Atlanta. The short film is for his single “Fake” featuring Boosie Badazz. The West Coast native was calm, collected and focused throughout the production. Boosie was his usual self, lively and entertaining.
The track is from his EP I Got Somethin to Say released by M.I.A. BRANDING. His new 9-song project is a “compilation of different experiences” in his words, one experience being the passing of his father, which led Amir into a hiatus from music. The extended play is his first since the time away, and he used it as a way to lament his pain and emotions.
The album can be found on all major streaming platforms and his video with Boosie is coming soon. Check out our behind the scenes footage for the short film, our interview with Amir along with his new project below. You can follow him on Instagram @RichReality.
